Palace of Diocletian, Split

 Below are images from the Palace of Diocletian in Split, Croatia.  They were all taken in the early part of the afternoon.  The dome with oculus was filled with light as you can see in the photo of the men singing traditional Dalmatian coast music.  The music was beautiful as the group used only their voices and the acoustics of the dome.  The light effect in the dome was a big thrill for me to produce with my camera, still learning to use that Nikon!
