Un De Agosto!

ALREADY!  It is August, I ask myself ...where has the summer gone?  I was never very much interested in the summer months living up north but since we now have a local pool to go to it is just so much more tolerable!
I have come to enjoy summer here ...even if the city stinks.
All my years in Florida made me a true lover of the sun, the sand and a tropical atmosphere.
It is my go to, no matter how I am feeling.  
Today is just a weepy, mild day with a constant mist of rain.  It has a Nina Simone sort of feel ...where I should be listening to her amazing voice wrapped in my favorite blanket on my couch at home.
Instead I am here at my desk (listening to Nina) and wishing the sky would clear so I can PLEASE go to the pool tonight!
