A Proud Retriever!!
University of Maryland Baltimore County was featured on 60 minutes Sunday evening.
My Brother and I share this alma mater and are extremely proud.
The story particularly covers the emphasis on math and science students but the enthusiasm and encouragement is across the board at UMBC.
It is truly a unique and exceptional university and I'm not just saying that because I went to school there...Please enjoy the segment

oh Julia...
Some time ago my Mom gave me the two volume set of Mastering the Art of French Cooking. I have enjoyed thumbing through the books and marking the dishes I feel I must conquer. The first dish from the classic was but of course crepes. Over the last three days I have been collecting the ingrediants for coq au vin and Daniel has been waiting patiently for the taste test! I started with a whole chicken and other fresh components, the end result was fabulous. Thank you Julia Child for educating this American cook!
